Water Department
The City of Sparta Water Department provides water services to the cities of Sparta and Doyle and the surrounding water utility districts. The priority of the Water Department is to provide quality water services that meet T.D.E.C. standards to all of its customers.

Note: Sparta Water Department will approve site location before installation. Water service will be provided to the meter, customers will be responsible from that point.

Sewer Department
The City of Sparta Sewer Department maintains and repairs the waste water collection system within the city as wells as providing service to some industrial customers outside of the city limits.

Street Department
The City of Sparta Street Department handles many aspects of the maintenance and repairs to the city of Sparta's infrastructure. This includes the maintenance and repair of city streets and sidewalks, city owned properties, street signs and seasonal maintenance that includes storm water drainage, leaf pickup, and road salting.

- Leaf pickup typically runs from the middle of October through late December, with roughly a 1 week spring pickup occurring in March.

Sanitation Department
The City of Sparta Sanitation Department handles solid waste disposal for the City of Sparta. This includes garbage pickup for residential and commercial customers and brush pickup by request.
